We currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources and Labor Relations Manager located at our facility in Wheeling, IL.
Your Role:
As the Human Resources and Labor Relations Manager, you will be responsible for managing employee relations, labor relations, recruiting, and training and development of employees. You will have the opportunity to:
Serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems
Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating all exempt and non-exempt candidates, advising managers, managing relocations and intern programs. Oversees the hiring process for hourly positions
Plans, directs and coordinates the development of goals and performance of HR staff including periodic performance review
Keeps management advised of potential problem areas and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate

We need you to have:
BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field
3+ years of experience as a progressive and professional HR Generalist in a unionized plant manufacturing environment
Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
Icing on the cake:
MBA or other advanced degree
PHR or SPHR/SHRM-CP or SCP certification
Experience using ADP
