Accountemps is seeking skilled candidates for a Financial Analyst position at a thriving company in the Real Estate & Property industry. There is an opening for a Financial Analyst, who will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. We are looking for people who can conduct financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management will also be part of this position. This Financial Analyst role, which is a long-term temporary employment opportunity, is based in the Westmont, Illinois, area.

Your responsibilities

• Authenticate routine Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting

• Flexible candidate that can organize a vast amount of information while managing high expectations

• Perform extensive research on the underlying internal and external drivers that are affecting performance and trending

• Participate in planning with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

• Amass and monitor forecasting reports

• Empower effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

• Analyze annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations and supply information to business partners to inform decision making

• Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance

• Work closely with business partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans

• Work with the Accounting group to lead the monthly and quarterly close process

• Manage monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

Requirements

• Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

• Sound written and verbal communication skills

• Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is a plus

• Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience recommended)

• Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
