Role Summary:Seeking a senior professional responsible for Customs Strategic Initiatives Project Management. This critical role has responsibility for functional responsibilities including driving standardization and adherence to GE Healthcare policy in the areas of country of origin, classification, and other global strategic initiatives. Responsible for proactively identifying areas of process improvement and cross functional program management to drive business compliance and financial objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:GE Healthcare is seeking a senior professional responsible for Customs Strategic Initiatives Project Management. This critical role will have responsibility for functional responsibilities including driving standardization and adherence to GE Healthcare policy in the areas of country of origin, classification, and other global strategic initiatives. This individual is responsible for proactively identifying areas of process improvement and cross functional program management to drive business compliance and financial objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements:o Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or High School Diploma/GED with at least 3 years of experience in Customs processes.
o Strong data analytics background
o 3 years project management experience
o 5 years supply chain experience
o Ability to communicate (verbal, written) in English
Desired Characteristics:o 10 years of experience with global tariff classification, country of origin determination, valuation, recordkeeping requirements, free trade agreements, bonded warehouses, and global trade management systems
o Analytics and visualization tool experience (Tableau, Spotfire, Alteryx, Smartsheet, etc)
o Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment
o Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different counties and cultures
o Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization
o Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments
o Experience working in the Healthcare industry
o Six Sigma certified and or Lean experience
o Oracle order management experience
