Edward-Elmhurst Health Clinical Systems Support Analyst IV in Warrenville, Illinois

Under general direction, instructs, leads, and checks the work of other clinical support specialist personnel. Formulates and defines plan for supporting and instructing clinical users on functions, features, operation, and usage of clinical information systems. Mentors team members in development of support skills and behaviors. Acts as the liaison between Information Technology and clinicians to provide an understanding of the clinical system’s capabilities. Responsible for quality assurance review. Acts as project leader for projects. Progression to this level in job family is restricted based on business requirements and limited to individuals transitioning from technical to staff management.
Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 5+ years previous experience in IT or relevant user experience
Recognized as an expert within the organization, both within and beyond own function
Skill and experience in adult education and training
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Previous healthcare experience
Previous experience working with physicians
Preferred Education and/or Experience
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) information systems experience preferred
Prior classroom training experience and expertise.
Prior experience preparing presentations and presenting to groups
Effective written skills for drafting and documenting training materials.
Required License and/or Certification:
Epic Application specific certification
Epic Curriculum and Training Environment Build certification
