Position Summary:

The Supervisor provides clinical supervision on the clinical operations of CARC. Strives to ensure quality, cost effective services are delivered; provides clinical services to individuals while in the role of a counselor.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 5 years experience in a chemical dependency treatment setting performing evaluations, individual counseling and group facilitation. 2 years in supervisory role OTHER REQUIREMENTS In-depth knowledge in the evaluation and treatment of individuals with addiction/dependence. Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to operate the program in compliance with DASA standards Ability to train and supervise counselors

Essential Functions:

  • Provides clinical supervision and staff development with program staff

  • Develop new programs and services in conjunction with medical staff

  • Implements program evaluation and outcome measurements

  • Recommends and initiates various personnel actions including but not limited to Hiring, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions

  • Participates in strategic planning and participates in strategic planning and outreach

  • Ensure program services meet DASA documentation standards

  • Provides education to referral sources on services offered

  • Performs on-going review of the program evaluation measures

  • Ensures drug screening services meet quality standards
