Springfield Clinic Department Secretary - Clinical Development Program in Springfield, Illinois
The Department Secretary is responsible for the clerical and secretarial duties of the department.
Reports to the applicable Department Manager
Manage department schedules, such as meetings, interviews, training rooms, classes, etc.
Put together departmental materials as needed, such as packets, training guides and other resources.
Maintain department record keeping.
Assist department leadership with special projects and other statistical data reports as assigned.
Take all incoming calls, evaluate and direct calls appropriately, and document messages.
Assist with form design and statistical record-keeping.
Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
Provides excellent customer service and adheres to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
- High school graduate required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
Proficiency with computer programs, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Sitting for long periods/computer work.
