Fiserv Client/Principal Consultant in Springfield, Illinois

What does a great Principal Consultant do?

The Principal Consultant, will provide analysis, consultation and recommendations to credit union and bank clients during deployment of DNA Core Financial Software, in order to ensure clients’ business needs are met. In addition, this position will support post live clients with both strategic consulting and implementations of post live items/modules. The right candidate will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery and implementations of their suite of products and provide the best-in-class solutions to the clients’ needs.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Support sales and consulting team

  • Change champion

  • Professional writing skills

  • Provide best in class, industry recognized, recommendations for process improvement

  • Configure and Implement DNA Core Processing Functionality

  • Document client and internal discussions and decisions

  • Execute specific duties and groups of work as assigned

  • Manage/resolve a fixed percentage of Service cases, prepare and escalate others to higher levels within the team

  • Test new features and functionality of the DNA product suite

  • Engage with clients and evaluate Readiness for conversion

  • Conduct UAT sessions with converting clients

  • Ensure client satisfaction

  • Back Up Principal and Implementation Consultants

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years DNA Core system experience

  • High school degree required

  • The ability to travel on average of 50-75%, this may include weekend and holidays

  • Analytical thinking

  • Strategic Consulting

  • Highly motivated to execute on deliverables on time

  • Proficiency in MS office tools

  • Highly motivated to execute on deliverables on time

  • Proficiency in MS office tools

  • Other core processing system experience desired

  • Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the major areas:

Finance/Back Office

  • Finance and Accounting

  • Back Office Processing

  • Deposit Operations

  • Retail Deposit

Loan Servicing

  • Consumer/Commercial/Mortgage Product

  • Consumer Loan Servicing

  • Commercial Loan Servicing

  • Mortgage Loan Servicing to include Escrow

  • Investor/Participation Lending

  • Back Office Processing

  • System Operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience preferred

  • 10+ Years in subject area of expertise within the financial industry

Role is performed remotely within the United States; not eligible in Colorado
