Position Description:

Performs functions to manage all production documentation and system transactions to ensure production records are accurate, timely and accessible. Provides feedback and performance updates to teams responsible for data transactions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Combines and simplifies existing and new systems for production data collection; develops procedures to execute data collection

  • Trains and coaches their team and establishes training protocols for users

  • Develops and implements strategic direction and plans for production data management

  • Reviews system files daily resolving any and all queuing issues between Whistle and Adage prior to the start of production

  • Via exception reporting, monitors all movements generated throughout the day within the Adage and Whistle system

  • Establishes data integrity and new data integrity processes to ensure the accuracy of production data

  • Ensures all production activities (labor and material usage) are reported timely and accurately in the ERP system

  • Tracks and adjusts inventory data of packaging materials and finished product in Adage and Whistle

  • Reviews and conducts analysis of production work order variances between standard and actual costs

  • Tracks and reports on multiple KPIs for production orders

  • Diagnoses and resolves system errors that prevent orders from processing through the system properly

  • Supports new product costing or changes to current costing

  • Conducts initial and follow up training as needed of all employees in the Whistle and Adage systems

  • Serves as a member of the QA product recall team

  • Supervises a team of production analysts and clerks to achieve performance and results

  • Performs other functions as assigned

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:

  • Hires, fires, coaches, counsels, and motivates staff

  • Maintains staff by orienting and training employees on company rules, safety, and job functions

  • Oversees administration of timecards and approval of time off requests

  • Guides the enforcement of systems, policies, and procedures consistently and fairly

  • Resolves personnel issues in accordance with company guidelines and policies

  • Schedules/assigns work for department staff; follows up on results


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

  • 3 years business management, cost accounting or other related experience

  • Proficient in ERP process with a minimum of 3 years of experience

  • Strong mathematical skills and statistical analysis

• Proficient with computers, specifically Microsoft Office applications (Excel)
