SUMMARYThe Traditions Deli Cook duties include but are not limited to providing excellent customer service and cooking recipes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide excellent customer service
Follow recipes, read charts and spreadsheets
Monitor quality and food taste
Understands food safety
Follow production list
Production of hot case foods, including operation of fryers, ovens, stoves, grill, griddle, and rotisserie
Monitor stock levels of hot case
Keeping kitchen and chicken cooler clean and organized
Work within company programs, policies and procedures.
Promote and support established programs
Promote a safe working and shopping environment
Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEUnderstanding of food sanitation and safety. Retail experience a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSBasic addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and fractions.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSFood Handler’s Certification as required by State Law
