Description
Position Summary :
The Knowledge Management Specialist is responsible for assisting the KM team in enabling the organization to be efficient and effective when responding to client needs. This role will work with the Knowledge Managers to assess the organization of content within our approved enterprise collaboration tools, ensuring alignment with best practices, optimizing useability, and increasing efficiency in the field. They will also support Knowledge Management led strategic initiatives that align with the overall company strategy.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Work with the KM team to support the business with their content management needs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and KM standards
Identify and communicate features and functionalities for effective use of collaboration tools
Assist with creating documentation and providing training and support of collaboration tools, processes, and technologies
Provide functional end user support
Assist in monitoring and identifying gaps in collaboration tools and processes and provide recommendations for improvements / enhancements to better align with business needs
Assist Knowledge Managers on strategic initiatives to enable client facing teams
Build new and strengthen existing relationships to ensure understanding of the business and their needs, work closely with KM team to share and address feedback
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field
At least one (1) year of work experience related to knowledge management, content management, collaboration, or similar activities
Other Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to work with a highly interactive, fast-paced team as well as the ability to work independently
Experience using Microsoft 365 products
Ability to investigate problems and utilize problem solving techniques, resourceful
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts in layman's terms
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
Demonstrated customer service skills
Proven attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to establish positive working relationships and work as a team player in a consulting environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams
Experience working in professional services/consulting organizations
Data Privacy and Security :

Essential Functions
This position exists to support the knowledge management strategy for geographically distributed, international professional services practices. As such, overnight travel will be required to effectively support business needs and meet with internal customers and stakeholders.
