Blessing Hospital MAINTENANCE MANAGER in QUINCY, Illinois
Responsible for the activities and work efforts of all maintenance employees. Sets work schedules, directs workload, works with outside contractors on correction items, orders supplies. Manager may be expected to routinely function as staff. Supervises activities consistent with department goals as cascaded down from the Director. Will be an active advocate of Blessing Health System in the community. This position will lead motivate, develop employees to achieve outstanding production results to maximize work order completion. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe, functional and comfortable environment for patients, public and staff through the management of day to day operations at all Blessing Hospital facilities. The position will have oversight of the various locations of the Blessing Health System which includes by not limited to Blessing Hospital, Blessing Health Centers, Blessing Education Center, Blessing Business Center, and other Blessing properties.
Shift start up and hand-off execution
Manage, prioritize, and delegate work orders and preventative maintenance task as assigned
Manage the shift
On-shift execution of specific improvement action plans
Own accuracy and timeliness of production metrics for shift
Establish and maintain sound relationships with employees to foster an inclusive environment
Ensure proper training, development and motivation of employees to maximize current and future production performance
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical/business related field.
Technical School training
5 years experience in the field, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.
Experience on computer and with Building Automation Systems.
CHFM certificate, CHOP certificate, or CHSP certificate
Valid Drivers License
