Preschool Grant Program Administrator

Peoria, IL

Cadence Education is currently in search of a Preschool Grant Program Administrator in Peoria, IL.

Grant Administrator Required Skills:

  • Experience working with a Preschool For All program preferred

  • Bachelors in Early Childhood Education preferred

  • 30 hours in ECE

  • Level 2 Director’s credential or ability to obtain

  • Compliance with state licensing standards, including but not limited to criminal background screening and fingerprinting

  • Comprehensive knowledge of national and state education standards, licensing requirements and procedures, and fire, health, and OSHA regulations

    Grant Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the state

  • Approving eligibility of children into the program

  • Children’s PFA files

  • Observing classrooms and setting goals for improvement in 8 classrooms at 5 different locations

  • Staff training and assisting staff with proper certification

  • Tracking all spending for state reporting
