This job was posted by : For more information, please see: PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Serves as a subject-matter expert on recruitment2.Partners with hiring managers in the district to effectively address recruitment needs in a timely manner3.Monitors vacancies daily and provides input on trends and areas of need4.Oversees day-to-day activities related to applicant flow in the District's Fast Track system5.Develops and conducts training for hiring managers on general recruitment6.Coordinates and participates fully in job fairs locally and regionally7.Compiles and updates informational recruiting materials for recruiting events8.Monitors hiring events organized by other organizations including colleges and universities9.Works collaboratively with hiring managers and the HR Department to ensure that job descriptions accurately reflect essential functions of each position10.Creates a recruiting outreach and interviewing plan for open positions11.Composes and posts employment advertisements to internal and external media outlets12.Uses social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates13.Screens application for employment and contacts applicants for follow up as may be warranted14.Evaluates candidate qualifications against position descriptions before forwarding them to hiring managers for further consideration15.Checks in periodically with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and activities16.Analyzes and recommends strategies to improve recruitment and selection process17.Generates recruitment statistics and activity reports as needed or required18.Performs other duties as assignedSPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:1.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field2.Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in human resources3.Knowledge of Skyward applicant data system preferred4.Proficient use of personal computers and applications (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Google Doc, etc.)5.Valid Illinois Driver's LicenseJOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws related to recruitment and selection Ability to make public presentations in a friendly, professional manner Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical proficiency Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently A proven track record of commitment to diversity Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Ability to think and work effectively under pressure and accurately complete tasks within established times Ability to maintain confidentiality
