CVS Health Rebate Formulary Analyst in Northbrook, Illinois

Job Description

As a Rebate Formulary Analyst, you will perform a criticalrole in the analysis of Medicare and Commercialformularies to determine client eligibility for rebates withrespect to manufacturer contractual guidelines. To supportaccurate rebate invoicing, you will be responsible formeeting manufacturer contractual obligations bycompleting a thorough interpretation of the contract andthorough analysis of formulary and plan design data on amonthly/quarterly basis.In this role, you will support overall team production byassisting during pharmaceutical disputes and collaboratingon day-day tasks such as:- Conducting specific formulary research to support Rebateforecasting and underwriting teams during themanufacturing contract negotiating process; ClinicalManagers and Client Support Services as they work withclients in the development of formularies; Rebate auditteam as questions arise on audits by manufacturers andclients- Adhering to quality control process in review of formularyrebate eligibility and contributing to enhancing our qualitycontrol processes- Providing recommendations to Negotiating and Contractteams on enhancing contract language necessary tosupport formulary rebate contracts- Maintaining filings for Caremark and client specificformulary publications- Exhibiting strong analytical skillsworking with contract language - Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to take onadditional tasks to support the department- Very light travel if any may be requested to supportbusiness activity

Required Qualifications

  • 6 or more months of professional work experience, preferably in a dynamic, office environment (including internship experience)- 1 or more years of MS Office experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a formulary, health care, contracting, orsimilar role- Caremark Formulary and/or Rebate knowledge beneficial- Experience with Caremark business systems, claimsadjudication, formulary, drug, and client systems with anemphasis on the RxClaim adjudication platform beneficial- Medicare knowledge beneficial- Spreadsheet creation/maintenance; Microsoft Excel- Ability to work independently and with people acrossfunctional areas- Ability to work in a virtual team environment

Education

Must be enrolled in a four year Bachelor's program with an anticipated graduation date in 2021 with a verifiable high school diploma or GED completed.
