This job was posted by : For more information, please see: The TEAM Lead is a federally funded grant that provides 94 participating rural, suburban, and urban public and private school principals with a professional development system aimed at increasing the capacity of school leaders to improve instruction through three complementary learning approaches, all of which are supported through on-going, job-embedded, one-on-one coaching. Housed at Illinois State University, the project partners with six Regional Offices of Education. A key component of the grant is to sustain the work once funding ends. To do this, the TEAM Lead project is partnering with the Illinois State Board of Education and the new Office of District and School Leadership to work with leadership organizations across the state to develop a high-quality diverse leadership pipeline and support continuum across the state.This position will:- support the vision and mission of the Department of School and District Leadership specific to planning and implementation of programs to support a high-quality, diverse leadership pipeline across the state of Illinois.- develop relationships with, collaborates with, and provides support to Illinois educational stakeholders to build a system of leadership support for Illinois educators.- help launch and staff an advisory team made up of a representation of leadership organizations across the state. The work of this team will include equitably supporting leadership initiatives across the state. Specific projects TBD.- assist the Director of the District and School Leadership Office with projects created by advisory team.- (may) serve on statewide committees in place of the Director of the District and School Leadership Director- assist and support the District and School Office Director with communication and any writing assignment requirements.This is a temporary grant funded position to occur between February 01, 2021-September 30, 2021
