Our benefit offerings are reflective of this unique blend of Life, Work and Family .nPURPOSE STATEMENTnThe Material Handler is responsible for shipping, receiving and transporting packaging, ingredients, and finished goods for the facility.n***Position shift is Monday-Thursday, 6 am - 4:30 pm.***nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMESnObserves all safety rules and regulations including use of personal protective equipment and material handling.nFollows all established Good Manufacturing Practices, including maintaining an orderly and clean work area.nMaintain forklifts by daily inspecting batteries, water levels, lights, horn, tires, mirrors, oil levels, backup beep indicators, etc.nVerify all deliveries/discrepancies by inspecting materials through physically counting and comparing the amount printed on the delivery receipt.nEnter necessary documentation of delivery receipts or material handling into the company''s computer system.nOrganize/rotate old materials with new.nHousekeeping: daily remove/fix any dirty, torn, hanging, broken wood, packaging, ingredients etc.nAssist management with inventory balances through physical cycle counts.nLabel any open/partial ingredient and packaging.nCheck production schedules daily to stage packaging and ingredients if needed.nPerforms all other warehouse and freezer duties.nMust be able to operate all forklift equipmentnMust be trained and recertified annually for forklift licensenMust be able to work in an extremely cold environmentnKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCEnHigh school diploma or GED required.nMust read, write and speak English.nMust possess basic math and computer skills.nAble to work with minimal supervision.nOne year or more material handling experience.nMust be able to lift 50 pounds.nBe able to regularly stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility.nVision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.nHearing ability to meet manufacturing facility safety requirements.nRich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), are committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant or employee on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, sexual orientation, marital status or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state, or local law.
