BUNZL Bindery/Sheeting Worker 2nd Shift (Morton Grove, IL) in Morton Grove, Illinois
The Bindary/Sheeter Worker will assist the Sheeter operator by performing in-line packaging and palletizing of finished products. This person will be trained as a backup operator.
Shift: 2pm - 10pm

Pack, label, and palletize materials sheeted and converted in the bindery department
Record production data on Production ticket; RM weights, lot codes, case counts, etc.
Assist in general repair & maintenance of equipment and work area; assist other areas as needed
Load paper rolls on sheeter
Change cutting knives and dies on sheeting and bindery equipment
Operate guillotine cutter, die cutter, and shrink wrap machines
Overtime will be required; sometimes on short notice and is mandatory when needed. This may include extended hours per shift or additional production time on the weekends
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of one years’ experience in a manufacturing or converting environment
Ability to take and follow directions from press operator and shift supervisor
Strong attention to detail
Additional training will be provided
Fill and lift cartons up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
This position requires more than 6 hours of standing on feet and some repetitive lifting / stacking in excess of 50 lbs.
