Title: Consultant - Quarry & Aggregates and 4WD Loaders - 72436
This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
The John Deere Construction & Forestry Division is seeking a Consultant – Quarry & Aggregates and 4WD Loaders to champion the relationship between the business and channel in areas of assigned responsibility. In this role, you will support improving channel knowledge and increase share of the market in the Quarry & Aggreges and 4WD Loader production system and product line. In addition, you will:
Promote and support the sale of John Deere solutions with direct dealer and customer interaction
Use knowledge and expertise to develop training material that will aid in selling the value of John Deere solutions in the assigned production system and of assigned products.
Deliver product and production systems sales training to dealer channel, customers, and internal staff
Travel with dealer personnel to customer job sites to provide product and/or production system knowledge
Support ECAP 2.0 activities by providing customer and market feedback to PLMT and PIT teams.
Support ECAP 3.0 activities including marketing events, tradeshows, and press activities
Support Corporate Business Division (CBD) accounts: large volume customers who we are building long-term relationships that buy in multiple quantities

What Skills You Need
Knowledge of John Deere and construction equipment
Knowledge of Quarry & Aggerates and/or Mining applications
Experience working directly with customers and dealers
Experience presenting one on one and in groups to a variety of people including dealers, Deere management, equipment operators, or construction company management
Willingness to travel domestically a minimum of 75% of the time (possible international travel)
Experience developing training material for construction products and applications
Knowledge of Deere Construction distribution channels; dealer, CBD, Rental or Governmental
What Makes You Stand Out
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of tools, Deere internal Market Share and Complete Goods Reporting (CGR) systems
Construction equipment (excavator, Motorgrader, backhoe, ADT, 4WD loader, or dozer) operating experience
Broad knowledge and understanding of the Deere and competitive product lines
Experience using interpersonal communication, negotiations, and conflict management
Knowledge of competitive construction equipment
Experience leading and managing a small group of people
Knowledge of ADDIE training development process
Completed professional sales training programs
Experience with mechanical maintenance and repair of construction machinery
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, Marketing, Construction Management, or equivalent discipline
