Material Handler

Are you a self-starter but also great in a team setting with superb attention to detail? We are looking for an order picker/forklift operator who has experience operating a sit down forklift and palletzing finished goods. If you like to make your workspace better than it was when you got there, this is the opportunity for you! This is a long term temp-to-hire position in the area of Mascoutah, IL.

Responsibilities

-Pull matching items from pick list

-Palletize items pulled

-Stage outgoing shipments

-Load/unload incoming/outgoing trucks

-Inventory audits

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 6 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends

• Sit Down Forklifts (2 years of experience is preferred)
