The Manager of HR Shared Services reports to the Senior Manager of HR Shared Services and is responsible for the regional HRSC and has direct management for the HRSC team members. This role works cross functionally with compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, HRIS, organizational development, payroll and facilities to provide HR programs and services and to ensure policies, processes and procedures are documented and consistently applied.
Execute the HR Shared Services (HRSS) strategy in region, delivering against operational objectives and implementing best practices for shared services.
Leada team of HRSS professionals, providing support and talent management including hiring, establishing performance goals, coaching and performance management, training and development.
Serves as senior point of escalation for the regional HRSS and handles the most complex and critical service-related issues.
Collaborates with SME’s (compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, HRIS, organizational development, payroll and facilities) regarding HR programs and services.
Ensures HR compliance activities, employment laws and regulations are properly applied within the scope of the HRSC activities: Zebra’s policies, procedures, code of conduct, operational guidelines and practices.
Conducts internal reviews to proactively identify any controls that need strengthening. Handles Internal/External audit inquiries impacting the HRSS and leads implementation of mitigation/improvement plans
Establishes performance and customer satisfaction metrics. Creates dashboards for reporting and analytics. Responsible for proactively identifying recurring issues, evaluating trends, and develops plans to address performance issues through process changes, training, and talent management.
Increases efficiency of department functioning by creating new tool, processes and procedures. Makes enhancements to HRSS business practices including continuing the development of a case management and knowledge database system.
Assists with HR projectsand other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
6 + yearsof applicable work in HR, customer service or call center environment required
Minimum 3 years of proven experiencein a supervisory/management role required
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of various human resources functions (i.e. staffing, benefits, compensation)
Understandingof government regulations as they apply to employment practices
Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and customer service skills
Change agent that is both process and results focused
Ability to establish workload priorities and balance diverse responsibilities and demands from multiple customers and competing priorities
Acts as advisor to other Zebra functions and may become actively involved to meet schedules and resolve problems
Effective collaborator that can effectively work across functions and teams
Able to present concepts and recommendation to all levels of management
