Our Digital and Strategy team is looking for a Senior Director, Enterprise Strategy. In this position you will lead the development of enterprise and business unit strategies. In addition you will be part of driving a transformational growth agenda, this will include developing long-range product strategy, developing market defining partnerships, and M&A strategies. You will drive market and product development as well as define new segments within the healthcare ecosystem.
Own and drive strategic analysis on existing and new products and businesses, including quant research and analysis, secondary/primary competitive research, synthesis, and making strategic recommendations
Build effective narratives that translate to a variety of audiences (e.g., executives, senior leaders, peers, third-party partners) in order to support alignment of key growth priorities and strategic recommendations
Develop business cases, including business model evaluation, market sizing, and investment requirements
Select business, technology, and delivery partner relationships to iterate concepts, promote collaboration, and expedite concept development
Develop and iterate new strategic concepts to bring strategies to life in the market quickly with an “agile mindset”
Evaluate pipeline of healthcare innovations and start-ups for acquisition or partnership
Bachelors or Master’s Degree required or no degree and an additional equivalent work experience
3+ years of strategy experience required
2+ years "Blue Chip" consulting experience required
2+ years of experience crafting strategies based on how consumers are engaging in the healthcare journey (touching at least one of provider, payor, or external technology partner), to reveal how products/brands can better connect with their consumers required
2+ years of experience crafting strategies based on how consumers are leveraging technology, data, analytics, and digital tools, to reveal how Trustmark can create new consumer-back products and businesses required
Demonstrated success analyzing internal/external partners required
Relentless curiosity and possess a passion to learn new concepts and create innovative analyses to identify opportunities required
Demonstrated strengths in and passion for extracting insights from data and converting ideas to action required
Ability to work in a rapidly changing industry, tolerate ambiguity, and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight required
High degree of motivation to self-start, and go above and beyond the task at hand required
Depth in core MS Office tools (e.g., Excel, Powerpoint) preferred
Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tool preferred
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal preferred
“Scrappy” team player able to lead and work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus preferred
