This job was posted by https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov : For more information, please see: https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov/ada/r/jobs/7595960 This position is responsible for managing the accurate calculation and timely submission of all required government price reporting and government contract performance measures performed by internal and/or retained professionals by ensuring compliance with all pricing and reporting requirements legislated by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Department of Veterans Affairs, and any state or federal legislation-required price reporting.

This position will also play the role of Business Point of Contact for all Enterprise related external Compliance reporting (as required by various government entities) by coordinating with internal and external partners.

nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: n

n

Monitor government pricing calculation requirements and policy changes to ensure Akorn is in compliance

Manage the calculation and submission of government pricing and other reporting requirements to applicable state and federal agencies for AMP, ASP, BP, and Medicaid URA

Provide Product launch excellence through the implementation and planning of future Product integration into the current Akorn Product portfolio through participation in launch activities and goals

Ensure government pricing policies, procedures, and controls are being properly adhered to

Develop and maintain reports and analytical tools to measure trends in Medicaid, PHS/340B, and other Government Program activity

Work with Revenue Management team to ensure proper accrual of the TriCare program

Manage the quarterly payment process for the TriCare program

Work with Chargebacks and Rebates team to address any issues related to PHS/340B entities

Develop and maintain tools to analyze Government Pricing changes and trends for impact analysis purposes

Develop process for regularly scheduled generation and distribution of reports to Account Management, Finance, Accounting, and other stakeholders within the organization

Develop and implement Government Price training for internal business partners

Facilitate the VA / Federal Supply Schedule NFAMP pricing calculations on a quarterly and annual basis to ensure ongoing compliance

Manage State Transparency reporting process to ensure current state statute compliance

Work with internal and external business partners to configure and maintain the Government Pricing system for optimal use

nQualifications n

Bachelor's degree or 10+ years' pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience required

3+ years of Government Pricing experience in generic drug market required

5+ years in specialty pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience is preferred
