The ADD DHQ Center of Excellence is a best in class FP&A organization that drives standardization and efficiencies across ADD, provides insightful and value-added analytics, and serves as a talent pipeline into the division. The Center of Excellence is responsible for the preparation and analytical review of cost center budgets and other standard financial reports, spanning across Commercial, DHQ, IT, Marketing, and R&D organizations for LBE's and confirmations. Analytical review includes understanding of the key causals that drive change versus multiple benchmarks. On-going process initiatives are also required to improve and strengthen financial processes, procedures, and systems supporting these areas of responsibility.

Our location in Lake Forest , Illinois currently has an opportunity for a Financial Analyst, ADD COE .

Main responsibilities include :

  • Preparation and Consolidation of monthly reporting packages for senior management and Corporate

  • Assist with the preparation and consolidation of LBE and Plan reporting packages

  • Assist with the preparation and consolidation of Board of Director meeting financial packages

  • Provide updates for Corporate Officer’s goal setting and goal grading

  • Maintain the ADD Chargeback Reserve, including but not limited to calculating and recording monthly journal entries, reconciling monthly Chargeback files and resolving any discrepancies, and ensuring payments are made on a timely basis

  • Prepare monthly Over Time reports for US commercial team

  • Process quarterly rebate payments for blood testing customers

  • Assist DHQ team with consolidation of LBE (latest best estimate) forecast

  • Ensure all deadlines are met with accurate schedules and on time submissions to appropriate organizations

  • Interaction with multiple levels of management, both finance and operational

  • Financial modeling with extensive use of Excel

  • Other activities including ad hoc reporting, identification and implementation of process improvements and other special projects as needed



  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Accounting or Finance

  • 2-6 years finance or accounting experience.

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and with senior management

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
