CVS Health is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of our Benefits Verification team in Mount Prospect, IL. Positions may work from home. A Benefits Verification Representative will provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals and insurance carriers. As part of this role you will verify insurance coverage for both new and existing patients in order to process patient prescription orders in a timely manner. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and a performance-driven individual. We are seeking someone willing to work temporarily from home due to our current policies. You must be willing to work onsite in Mount Prospect, IL once our policies have been lifted. This a full time 40 hour a week position with potential overtime during our peak seasons with potential weekend and holiday shifts. In office training for two weeks Monday thru Friday and then you will deployed to work from home for the final week of training.We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision insurance as well as a wide-ranging list of supplemental benefits and discount programs.  In addition to sixteen paid days off for employees, we also offer ten paid holidays. Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in healthcare environment, with direct experience interpreting health insurance coverage and acting as a liaison relaying the coverage approvals and denials.- Proficient work experience with Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmacy experience.- Previous experience working with Prior Authorizations.- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party vendor.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent
