Vistex, Inc. Demo Build Engineer in Hoffman Estates, Illinois

The Demo Build Engineer will be located in the Vistex Hoffman Estates, IL office; and can expect to have frequent interaction with Sales, Services, Development, and Product Management. The main purpose of this position is to design and configure customized demo scenarios for potential and existing customers of the Vistex suite of products.
Develop and maintain in-depth technical, product functionality, and operation knowledge of Vistex software products
Provide ongoing product-specific technical guidance to Presales team members and other audiences as required and appropriate
Develop, as needed, supplemental product/solution documentation complementary to prospect/client business and technical demonstrations
Configure Vistex software for multiple business scenarios across multiple industries
Tailor existing demonstrations or work within the Vistex team to configure new business scenarios based on customer requirements for sales demonstrations
Participate in business requirements gathering and design solutions within the Vistex framework to meet the needs
Assist in the creation of presentations for company events and trade shows
Other duties as required or directed
Programming/Configuration experience requiring complex logic statements or specification of software customizations

Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities
Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
BA/BS degree required
Knowledge of business processes in the life science, wholesale distribution, or consumer products industries
