Pick/Pack 1st shift

Local company in Grayslake looking for a experienced pick pack person to help support the shipping department. This is a first shift temp to hire opportunity. $16/hr with some overtime. Lots of unique pieces will require one off packing solution to unsure they get delivered undamaged. Priority of orders to make sure on time deliveries are paramount

Responsibilities

Picking and packing orders to go out for shipping. Working with shipping department to make sure priority is followed. Lots of custom pieces that require unique packing needs

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment

  • wearing steel toe shoes

  • working in a non-temperature controlled environment

  • manual lifting up to 50lbs
