Edward-Elmhurst Health Patient Transporter in Elmhurst, Illinois
General Summary: Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or alternative means. This includes disconnecting and re-connecting patient’s IV pumps from the IV pole and oxygen. Delivers patient equipment to nursing floors as needed.
Location: Elmhurst - Surgery
Hours: Full time, evenings. Weekend rotation required.
Required:
- CPR through the American Heart Association
Preferred:
- High-school diploma or GED
