A small but mighty team in East Moline is looking for a Bookkeeper that is highly skilled in accounting and enjoys working in an collaborative environment. How you will make an impact:

• Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

• Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

• Complete payroll for 20 employees

• Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

• Settle accounts by reconciling entries

  • Conduct and manage the general ledger

• Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

Requirements

• Prior experience using accounting software

  • Expertise in Accounts Payables (AP)

  • Accounts Receivables (AR) experience

  • Payroll experience

  • Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel

  • Wide ranging experience with Federal Government Reporting

  • Proven knowledge of QuickBooks

  • 2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper

  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

  You would stand out with the following experience: -Medical Billing experience - Experience working with DHS - Familiarity with state contracts and billings
