The Porter will provide general housekeeping duties to ensure the cleanliness of the work environment including cleaning offices, restrooms and general plant areas with integrity and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Dusting

2. Mopping

3. Emptying garbage cans

4. Cleaning restrooms

5. General cleaning of plant facilities

6. Read and fill out written logs

7. May act as backup for Sanitization Associate II, and work in cleanroom areas

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Special cleaning projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school or equivalent and experience in industrial cleaning.

JOB PREREQUISITES:

Ability to meet attendance standards. All full-time employees are required to work a 40 hour week, most of which has to be during "regular" business hours. At times it may be necessary to work additional hours in order to get the required tasks accomplished to meet deadlines.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

Requires safety glasses and gloves frocks and other PPE gear related to sanitizing.
