Neuberger Berman Trade Management Middle Office, Senior Analyst in Chicago, Illinois
The Trade Management team within Neuberger Berman Middle Office provides support to the Non-Investment Grade and Investment Grade Investment teams which manage over 90 billion AUM. It is the team's responsibility to manage all operational aspects of a trade lifecycle including confirmation, settlement and discrepancy resolution of global and domestic fixed income products. This role supports a rapidly growing business working closely with the trading desks and must ensure accuracy of all transaction processing. This individual should be highly detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment with daily deadlines.
Manage the trade confirmation process in the order management system (Aladdin) to ensure timely confirmation of all trades in fixed income client accounts and Neuberger Berman funds
Asset types include broadly syndicated loans, HY bonds, IG bonds, TBA’s, MBS pools, and treasuries.
Resolve all pre-settlement discrepancies internally or with brokers and input trade corrections
Research and respond to questions from Portfolio Managers and Traders regarding cash and positions
Compile all necessary documentation to onboard new brokers and to complete periodic credit reviews
Assist in booking and confirming subscriptions, redemptions, and rebalancing cash flow transactions
Provide monthly and quarterly broker volume and trade correction reports to internal compliance teams
Assist the trading desk with daily ad hoc requests and inquiries
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or other business related field preferred
2 to 3 years of industry experience
Strong knowledge and understanding fixed income products preferred
Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills, detailed oriented
Ability to implement tasks and projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Team player who fosters team spirit in a global setting
Proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced knowledge of Excel a strong plus
Experience with BlackRock Aladdin and Bloomberg a plus
