Z Gallerie Sr. Manager/Director of Product Management - Supply Chain in Chicago, Illinois

CSC Generation is saving retail. In just four years, we’ve made control investments in several distressed Ecommerce retail businesses to get to a $500M run-rate. We’ve also saved over 1,000 jobs, several companies from liquidation, and have over 1M happy customers and counting. Starting with DirectBuy Home Improvement Inc in 2017, our acquisition of Z Gallerie in 2019, and our recent acquisitions of One Kings Lane, and Sur La Table, we're consolidating the home furnishings industry, while driving growth through digital.

This is your opportunity to lead execution of our product management strategy for the supply chain. Leading a team of associates, and working with executive leaders, you’ll drive end to end solutions and technology within our brands, own the supply chain product roadmap, creating continuous improvement in our workflows, processes, and customer experience. Your goal will be to immediately improve the supply chain merchandise flow, creating world class customer service, and increasing profitability.

Your day to day will vary but include:

  • Working with brand technologies such as warehouse management (WMS), order management (both stocked and drop ship inventory), transportation management (TMS), business intelligence tools (BI), final mile scheduling, item setup, purchase order management and reverse logistics. You’ll seek out inefficient processes, improving productivity, replacing legacy systems with new technologies where possible.

  • Leading new product introduction efforts with specific goals for team leadership, supply chain design, schedule, cost, and quality

  • Manage relationships with operations, IT, merchandising, planning, and supply chain teams

Our ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience including leading a team. Experience in Retail (home furnishings, furniture), E-Commerce, and Operations preferred.

  • Strong product / project management experience, proven ability to execute in all phases of the product development life cycle, resulting in high-quality projects and products delivered on time and on budget.

  • Willing to challenge the status quo, data driven and decisive.

  • Familiar with as many of these as possible: WMS, TMS, Purchase Order, Sales Order, Returns, Item Master and BI technologies.

  • Able to synthesize a multitude of issues into a clear, concise and focused message

  • Leadership presence and communication skills to represent our brands in a myriad of settings and levels of technical sophistication

What’s in it for you?

  • Own and build supply chain product management for a $500M portfolio of companies!

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package

  • Casual work environment (no suits or ties!)
