Kforce has a client in search of a Software Engineer in Chicago, IL.Summary:As a member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You will work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment-one that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally. * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience 5 years: * Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages .NET, or Java and JavaScript * Proficiency with object orientated, React, and web-based development * Development experience in SQL Server and strong understanding of relational databases * Proficient understanding of code versioning and deployment tools (such as Git) and familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery, DevOps & Agile methodologies * Experience with Entity Framework and Cloud technologies is a plus * Awareness of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines * Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture * Preparation and execution of automated testing * Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines * Understanding of architecture and design across all systems * Working proficiency in developmental toolsets * Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices * Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals * Passionate about building an innovative culture * Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
