VMware Senior Manager, Sales Incentive Planning - Opportunity for Working Remotely in Chicago, Illinois

Partnering with Operations and Finance Teams, the Customer Success Sales Incentive Planning Senior Manager will work within the Worldwide Sales Planning & Incentives Team to support semi-annual incentive plan design, process optimization, issue resolution and analytics activities. This is a worldwide role primarily engaged primarily in supporting the Customer Success and Renewals Organizations.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
Coordinate across multiple cross-functional teams on the successful completion of incentive planning initiatives worldwide
Partner with business leaders and sales operations teams in the Customer Success, Renewals and PSO organizations to capture requirements for incentive designs that align with strategic objectives
Support the design of plans that motivate sellers and align with Corporate objectives
Support rollout and communication of semi-annual incentive plans
Coordinate the design, approval, and rollout of SPIF programs
Focus on unique business problems and continuous process improvement
Resolve complex issues related to all aspects of sales compensation
Support day to day transactional activities supported by Shared Service
Communicate plan effectiveness results and make proactive recommendations for improvements
Partnership with Sales Operations, Finance and Commission Finance Teams ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and development of solutions
Collaborate on the development and improvement of the Planning and Compensation Tools and Systems.
Required Skills:
10+ years of sales compensation experience
Experience with SaaS Customer Success and Renewals sales responsibilities
Degree in Business Administration or Finance
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
Project Management skills are an advantage
Excellent partnering skills across all levels of the organization
Ability to translate business needs into a set of workable, specific requirements
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Strong problem solving and process management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Enthusiastic with a passion for change and efficiency
Excellent English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate and interact with upper management.
