About the Role
Vixxo’s Solution Architect is responsible for leading the day-to-day management and formulation of solutions which align Vixxo’s capabilities and processes with the needs and requirements of our clients. This individual will use their skills to explain and demonstrate the technical, operational, and strategic benefits of Vixxo’s solution to potential customers and show how the solution solves desired customer outcomes better than alternative products or services.
The Solutions Architect role requires strong financial acumen, proven creative thinking, extraordinary executive presence, and an ability to articulate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
Reporting to the VP of Solution Architecture, this role partners with Vixxo Sales team and is customer-facing, requiring Subject Matter Expertise for Vixxo solutions and customer markets. In this role, one must quickly establish a trusted advisor relationship with Vixxo’s external community and internal teams. They will collaborate with Operations, Technology, Analytics, Pricing, Implementations, and Marketing teams to help drive world class demo scenarios, solution content and overall solution design. This role will bring customers’ technical and business requirements back to the internal teams to ensure our solutions can be successfully executed and continue to meet our customer’s needs. They will be key contributors to customer business case development.
Act as Subject Matter Expert for Vixxo’s technology, operations, and overall solutions
Establish a deep understanding of our customers’ needs. Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
Create a “trusted advisor” relationship with our customers. Field deep questions related to implementation of Vixxo services with client.
Prepare and deliver demonstrations and presentations explaining Vixxo’s services to customers and prospective customers
Act as a key product advisor for capability and solution mapping while serving as bridge to internal teams.
Collaborates internally with pricing and analytics teams to design, develop and execute measurement tools to estimate program impact plus enable customers to achieve desired outcomes. Leverage Vixxo’s analytic tools to support business case modeling.
Work with Technology team, sales team, and marketing team to drive demo scenarios and demo content for Vixxo’s commercial solutions.
Develop evolution path and migration plans for key Vixxo customers from their current state to the target state by deploying Vixxo solution
Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, engineering, technology or related discipline
Minimum 10+ years’ work experience in technical pre-sales with demonstrated customer experience
Expertise in facilities management solution and integration approaches
Able to solve complex problems and develop innovated solutions to meet customer’s needs
Able to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level
Fundamental knowledge of comparative long-term business implications for various configuration options
Ability to quickly become knowledgeable of full range of Vixxo’s solution catalog unit and able to discuss overall solution at depth.
Proactively identifies and communicates pipeline risks and develops mitigation plans, proactively shares ‘best practice’ to improve pipeline efficiency.
Able to lead customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with Vixxo solutions
Understands the strengths and weaknesses of the competitive offerings and can discuss
Effectively support sales cycles from business champion to c-suite (CIO/CEO) level
Communicates the importance of understanding customer's business strategies to become an advocate for profitability on behalf of the customer
Proven ability to articulate value to business and technical stakeholders
Creates meaningful stories and combines ideas in unique ways and makes connections between disparate ideas.; Communicates functional strategy and roadmap with sufficient detail for teams to utilize; Describes functional area information to leaders.
Demonstrates effective time management in preparation for conversations/ discovery process;
Foresees obstacles in the sales cycle identifies workarounds, leverages resources and able to rally teammates.
Develops customer relationships and ensures knowledge of Vixxo capabilities are understood; identifies the challenges faced by their customers; presents in a manner that conveys expertise and intuition; Demonstrates strong listening skills; Quickly provides answers to customer inquiries when information regarding the customers’ business may not be available.
Uncovers and articulates critical success factors necessary for the customer to acquire, implement, and utilize a solution; Assists customer in identifying shortcomings, even when they could delay a commercial decision; Articulates a roadmap that provides a high likelihood of the customer realizing expected business benefits and other key stakeholders achieving desired personal success
Can express opposing views while simultaneously working through disagreements toward clarity, consensus (i.e., comfortable pushing back, saying ‘No’ to colleagues when further review / discussion is justified, particularly, Sales counterparts).
