We are looking for an Elevator Sales Consultant – Business Developer who will build new relationships with owners and owner representatives by selling maintenance contracts and related digital services outside of the current customer base. You will also pass modernization leads to modernization sales team.

Essential Functions :

Customer Relationship Management

  • Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in your area of responsibility

  • Creates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire KONE sales team (e.g. cross-selling)

  • Ensures customer satisfaction and solving complaints with the rest of the KONE team

  • Documents and maintains the customer and contact information

Sell

  • Handles RFQs

  • Is accountable for leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets including proactively generating opportunities from outside current customer base

  • Is accountable for finding customer needs and that KONE’s solution matches with the needs

  • Is responsible for pricing using the approved tendering tools, and for optimizing prices and discounts within your authority

  • Validates that the contents of the contract are in line with the negotiation process outcome

  • Maintains full information of opportunities, tasks and visits, while keeping CRM up to date

  • Responsible for gathering relevant information about market and competitors from the field

Experience :

  • Sales and / or customer service experience

  • Experience from / familiar with solution selling methodology

  • Experience from / familiar with (selling) complex technology solutions

  • Experience from / familiar with KONE customers’ industries is a plus

  • Basic digital skills and mindset

Education :

  • Previous 2+ years sales, marketing, or fund-raising or related experiences preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferred or 4+ years of experience

  • Preferred areas of study are: Business, Management, Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Communications and Liberal Arts
