Origami Risk Resource Capacity Manager (Professional Services) in Chicago, Illinois

Making a Difference As the Resource Capacity Manager you will collect and use data to best allocate the organization's resources to ensure proper utilization to attain budget and efficiency targets.  This position will specifically focus on the projected sales pipeline and the allocation of service resources to implement the pipeline. We do not discriminate against any individual based upon race, religion, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, color, sex, national origin, age, marital status, military or veteran status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.   Key Responsibilities * Works with Service Leadership to assign specific client engagement projects with a goal of effectively balancing resource utilization needs with planning targets, skills allocation, actual utilization, and staffing levels. * Assists in the management of the tactical and strategic resource plan for the service organization. * Streamlines resource assignment and allocation processes to limit effort and ensure project and account teams are staffed correctly. * Facilitates and oversees the assignments of professional services colleagues to specific client engagement projects with a goal of effectively balancing resource utilization needs with planning targets, skills allocation, actual utilization, and staffing levels. * Acts as Service Finance Business Partner to increase accuracy of data and goal alignment between Service and Finance. * Coordinates plans for resource redeployment or retraining with internal resources, as needed. * Utilizes business system tools to ensure resource capacity and data quality across the organization. * Other duties as assigned.   Qualifications * 5+ years of resource capacity management in a complex, professional services environment * Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field * Ability to report, analyze, and manipulate large complex data sets * Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills * Experience presenting to and influencing stakeholders at all levels * Salesforce and Mavenlink experience a plus   Who We Are Origami Risk is an industry-leading provider of integrated SaaS solutions for the risk and insurance industry—from insured corporate and public entities to brokers and risk consultants, insurers, third party claims administrators (TPAs), and risk pools. We deliver a full suite of risk management and insurance core system solutions from a single, secure, cloud-based platform.
