The Manager, Integrated Media Planning & Partner Management will provide support to senior-level members of the Strategic Partnerships team responsible for revenue generation across Intersport?s properties and services. The right candidate will have experience in media planning and buying based on partner-specific KPIs and a strong working knowledge of the media space. The Manager will focus on the linear, social, and digital elements of Intersport?s properties to effectively position them to media agencies and brand-side media and sponsorship contacts.

Responsibilities

General

Sales and Media

  • Has a propensity for organic growth as it relates to partners? business and an entrepreneurial mindset as it relates to prospects and new business development

  • Help senior-level sellers manage 40+ strategic partners

  • Work in partnership with the Strategic Partnerships team to develop, price, and prepare multi-platform integrated proposals and RFP submissions

  • Develop partner-/prospect-specific media plans and presentations that set the strategic tone and direction for planning deliverables to effectively position Intersport?s media offerings to media buyers and brand-side marketers

  • Lead the implementation and tracking of media plans and provide valuations and assessments to gauge effectiveness

  • Actively track delivery of ad schedules and prepare all post-analysis and proof-of-performance

  • Help manage revenue generation plan with the specific Strategic Partnerships sales lead on each platform within the portfolio

  • Manage internal CRM and sales activity tracking systems and coordinate planning of sales outreach among team members

  • Manage traffic with network partner

  • Manage billing associated with partner agreements and work with accounting for onboarding of new partners and

Thought Leadership

  • Serve as Intersport?s thought leader in media buying and planning to provide media insights and expertise to effectively position Intersport?s linear, social, and digital assets and serve as an educational resource to the Strategic Partnerships team on how to best meet partner KPI

  • Collaborate with Insights and Strategy team to develop pre- and post-sales process effectiveness tools including media asset valuations and measurement and ROI analysis

  • Work with Creative team to develop sales tools including property-specific video sizzle reels and graphics and partner-/prospect-specific graphics and video recaps

  • Provide administration support and prep and follow-up materials for partner/prospect meetings

Team Management

  • Work collaboratively with all members of integrated team

  • Manage, train, and mentor junior-level staff in sales support and partner servicing roles

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree

  • Four (4) to six (6) years? full-time experience in media planning

  • Strong knowledge of media buying cycles, experience building media valuations across linear, digital, and social

  • Experience in a partner service structure, contributing to the development and management of media programs

  • Strong knowledge of media fundamentals and an understanding of key research sources

  • Comfort with data, analytics and measurement and the ability to develop and articulate strategic insights

  • Knowledge of current trends and innovations in media and passion for sharing such knowledge with colleagues

  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills with high-level presentation abilit

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel

  • Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Ability to travel for business on trips typically lasting between two to five days
