MANAGER OF POLICY & TRAINING FOR MAJOR INTERNATIONAL FOOD DISTRIBUTER IS NEEDED ASAP! Develop and deliver training and awareness programs that foster and support a culture of Compliance and improve employee morale and productivity. Work with the Compliance team, HR and business partners to help mitigate compliance risks through compelling training and communications and regularly measure training effectiveness. Render advice to employees about the Code of Conduct and promote values and standards of conduct consistent with the Company’s commitment to integrity. Develop and manage policy portal and policy governance process to ensure that company policies are updated, available and understood by all USF employees. Work the Manager, Risk Assessment and Diligence, to ensure that compliance training keeps pace with emerging risk issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the development and delivery of the annual enterprise-wide Code of Conduct training to promote and reinforce compliance with the company’s fundamental principles of business conduct; Facilitate the development and delivery of risk-based, job-specific compliance training that educates employees about their compliance and ethics responsibilities. This includes: Implement methods to identify gaps in employee compliance knowledge and deploy relevant training to address gaps; Collaborate with division field personnel to establish local Compliance Liaisons to promote awareness and support training efforts; Partner with HR to embed compliance training in on-boarding process, leadership training and other HR training initiatives; Collaborate with the Compliance team to develop and deliver training on new policies and procedures to mitigate specific risks identified during Compliance efforts; Manage relationships with third-party training developers and providers; Develop and manage a database to document the completion of employee compliance training to provide support to Legal and the company in the event of corrective action, litigation or regulatory investigations; Work with the Manager, Risk Assessment and Diligence, to develop and execute a Compliance Awareness Plan, including Compliance bulletins, alerts and other vehicles, to communicate Compliance initiatives, projects and guidance to relevant audiences and stakeholders; Act as a champion of the Compliance program among employees; receive and respond to questions from the field regarding compliance and conflicts matters; Regularly measure training and communications effectiveness through assessments, surveys, etc., and actively benchmark the Company's compliance training/communication efforts against industry best practices; Collaborate with HR and business leaders to develop and promote incentives, recognition opportunities and other programs that encourage Compliance and reward compliant conduct; Develop and manage policy portal and policy governance process to ensure that company policies are updated, available and understood by all USF employees. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree required. Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or equivalent certification preferred; Related Experience: Five or more years of relevant experience in corporate training and/or communications and demonstrated success managing an employee communications program. Experience developing and delivering training in large public or private corporations as compliance associate preferred. Experience drafting materials in “plain English” and communicating at all levels and across functions Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Highly developed written and oral skills; strong leadership ability and presence. Excellent reading, comprehension, analytical skills; and an understanding of the critical role training and communications play in supporting a compliant culture. Good judgment in making day-to-day decisions and evaluating business and legal risk. You are comfortable and capable of thinking strategically while at the same time you do not hesitate to roll up your sleeves to get things done; You must be proactive, organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You should be a quick study and immersed in legal and regulatory requirements, and able to make that knowledge readily accessible to all levels of USF; Project management skills; experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; and cultural sensitivity.
