Global EVED & Accounting Coordinator
We're looking for a skilled EVED & Accounting Coordinator to join our global team! You will collaborate with your peers to ensure the financials for each meeting across the globe are managed in a timely, accurate and compliant manner, while using EVED, an online payments platform. You will keep projects running on time and hold team members accountable to deliver against promised deadlines. Support the global meetings and events team by facilitating the PO and Eved Pay process through EVED, providing meeting budget review and auditing supplier invoices.
Responsible for reviewing meeting budgets, setting-up new vendors in the system, and supporting the team in processing payments.
Review invoices for accuracy, applied discounts and completeness.
Meeting budget reconciliation within the system.
Prepare final billing according to Client policies and internal procedures.
Reconcile and verify hotel bills and other supplier invoices for accuracy by comparing information to contractual terms and negotiated items.
Resolve any discrepancies with suppliers and team prior to payment.
Document all information on final bills for data consolidation.
Act as commission liaison -- including tracking and collections.
Perform audit and file close out procedures on every meeting.
You're good at
Strong written and verbal communication with suppliers and team members.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Works well under time pressures and changing deadlines.
Drives, and is accountable for, the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics with meeting requestors and vendors
Strong financial acumen including reviews, audits, and reconciliation.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite, Excel in particular.
Ability and desire to work with global teams and in global time zones.
You might also have
2-3 years of administrative experience with a strong background in accounting & financial skills
