Director, Product Management- Central Pharmacy Operations Software
As Omnicell pursues our vision for Autonomous Pharmacy, we are looking to reinvent how large health systems can run their central pharmacies more effectively. A critical element of our evolution is reinventing Omnicell’s software suite to deliver perpetual inventory management across all care settings with a unified enterprise software experience in the cloud. This is a remote home-based role
That includes Central Pharmacy operations-focused software – and that is where you come in.
In this role, you will excel at:
Driving innovative SaaS offerings for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other central pharmacy usersby working collaboratively with other Omnicell product leaders to jointly define cloud-based workflows for superior customer experience
Working cross-functionally with engineering, services, finance, marketing, platform, UX, and other teams to develop and deliver these offerings to market while championing change
Achieving successful customer adoption by work closely with sales, services, and support teams to ensure customers’ success in achieving desired outcomes
Maintaining current Central Pharmacy software portfolio and helping customers migrate by delivering the best possible experience as they migrate from the existingpremises-based software to the cloud
Coaching and developing product managers as a passionate change agent and honing their skills in developing and managing SaaS offerings throughout the entire product lifecycle
Responsibilities:
Lead a small team of product managers AND also perform as a significant individual contributor
Establish prioritized product needs based on insights from market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, business needs, and collaboration with subject matter experts
Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize key problems to solve, make trade-off decisions, and ultimately translate priorities into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
Own the successful delivery of the roadmap and lead the success of the overall portfolio
Effectively identify and manage cross-team dependencies
Build effective relationships that matter at all levels of the organization including senior executives with engineering, design, QA, and a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
Develop communications material, value props, and high-level strategic justification to help explain the why of your product both internally and externally
Develop relationships with customers and prospects, gather and understand customer feedback on existing products and products in development and conduct effective interviews to better understand the context, pressures, complete understanding of the problems they need to solve to deliver the right solution
Communicate the vision of the product, value proposition, and release goals to the cross-functional team and senior leadership as part of the release planning process
Help the teams remove obstacles, focus, and prioritize to achieve their goals and milestones
Guide and mentor colleagues for effective decision-making and leadership abilities
Required Knowledge and Skills:

Proposes innovative and cost-effective business deals to potential customers, suppliers, and business partners
Frequently develops better, faster, or less expensive ways to do things that significantly improve the organization

Shows an honest and genuine interest in what others have to say; clearly values their perspectives and ideas
Uses measurements and analytics effectively throughout the product development
Build, lead, grow a successful team of PMs
Adjust team, org structure to best meet company goals
Collaborate on and communicate technical resourcing needs
Anticipates development challenges with a particular proposal and proactively identifies, solves problems with other functions
Responsible for the development of enterprise software
Effective leadership skills and ability to listen, communicate and motivate teams
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
10 or more years of Product Management experience
5+ years in SaaS/cloud-based software
Enterprise software experience
Experience defining effective customer workflows at both workgroup and enterprise levels
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience delivering supply chain/warehouse management software
Experience developing business performance optimization services
3+ years’ experience building healthcare software products
Work Conditions
Home Office Based
Management of a remote team
Extended periods of time sitting or standing in front of a computer using video technology
25% travel
Compensation will vary based on region. For the state of Colorado only, the expected pay is $134,000-172,000. Benefits can be found on www.omnicellbenefits.com .
