The Role

The Digital Advertising Manager withAvail (Part of The Realtor.com Network), is an important role to help the company achieve scale—faster. You’ll work directly on the marketing team and report up to the Marketing Director. While being the primary lead for creating, executing, and reporting ad campaigns, you’ll also partner with agencies to fulfill company growth objectives. Leveraging your skills as a persuasive copywriter, you’ll work to position and frame campaigns that attract and convert ideal customers. You’ll become an expert of the landlord and tenant life cycles and unit life cycles, and the ad channels that have the most impact on each cycle, respectively. What will you do?

Responsibilities

  • Strategize, develop, manage, and report ad campaigns across Google, Facebook, podcasts, sponsorships, and other channels

  • Develop campaign ideas, draft campaign briefs, write copy framing USPs, and lead visual asset creation efforts

  • Work closely with Avail Research Team and Customer Service to understand the Avail customer

  • Directly manage campaigns, as well as work with agencies to see through campaign execution

  • Ideate, setup, execute, measure, and iterate on A/B and multivariate tests to optimize campaign efforts

  • Lead conversion rate optimization efforts through on-page experiments and work with design team to create high-converting landing pages

  • Assist in the growth and optimization of content and email lead generation initiatives

  • Research, evaluate, and propose opportunities for new channel expansion

What will you bring?

Requirements

  • Have an attitude of “whatever it takes”

  • Expert knowledge working in Google Ads, Bing Advertising, Facebook Ad, and other ad platforms

  • Highly skilled in framing product value propositions with compelling and persuasive copy with the intent to drive consumer response

  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrable experience managing several ad campaigns across multiple channels, simultaneously

  • Demonstrable ability to self-learn and the desire to self-start projects

  • Experience in working with and managing multiple contractors and/or agencies at once

  • Expert proficiency using Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Google Tag Manager, and other tools to measuring campaign performance

  • Experience leveraging tools such as Full Story, Google Optimize, and Hotjar to execute on-page optimizations

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript

  • 3+ years experience creating, managing, and measuring digital ad campaigns

Nice to Haves:

  • Passion for real estate investing, property management, landlording, or real estate in general

  • Experience operating in-person marketing activations and/or event planning

  • Knowledge of real estate and/or proptech landscape, especially in Chicago

  • Experience using Digioh, Provesrc, Iterable, and Zapier

  • Experience with the OKR framework

This is a full-time position that could be based in Chicago, IL or in one of our offices for the right candidate.
