We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Data Analyst II on our Health Solutions team. As a Data Analyst II you will lead and coordinate analysis and supporting process flows to collect, build, enrich, and manage information relating to the market use of CPT, producing consistent, accurate, and timely analysis of metrics and key performance indicators, scorecards, and trending reports that lead to informed business decisions. You will also develop recommendations regarding data sources and analytical approach aligned with HS Compliance business and financial objectives.
Provide analyses and recommendations, and defined reporting anddashboards, based on HS business needs
Gather input from stakeholders and translate customer needs into clear design requirement documents
Recommend customized analytic project design to meet customer needs, including articulating optimal analytic design approach to customers and anticipating business needs
Analyze and develop reports on data quality, business rule adherence and data fitness of use
Make recommendations to select appropriate sources of market data and optimize data collection and analysis efforts via statistical targeting of market data
Communicate analysis rationale and business implications of results to all levels of the organization
Create, customize, and maintain reporting capabilities to supportbusiness users
Initiate and conduct data analysis when necessary, providing reports on procured data
Customize analytical reporting to be digestible given the audience through usage of visualizations and dashboards
Utilize technical acumen to automate reports over time and eliminate unnecessary manual processes
Identify opportunities to adopt or improve reporting capabilities andsupporting processes
Investigate and adopt innovative techniques or new tools where appropriate
Work with management, colleagues, and third parties to recommend improvements in the quality of data and processes utilized by internal/external business partners
May include other responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a field with emphasis on quantitative and statistical analysis: may include finance, digital marketing analytics, or technical fields; advanced degree in a field requiring quantitative analysis preferred
5+ prior experience in data analysis; familiarity with conventional analytical tools, such as Power BI, SPSS/SAS, Tableau, advanced Excel tools such as data tables and regression, etc.
Able to manage and integrate insights and establish monitoring around multiple internal data sources, such Enterprise Data Warehouse, customer database and purchased/appended data if available
Demonstrated experience with SQL in the extraction and manipulation of datasets (building queries)
Strong statistical analysis capabilities, including programming automate processes for data collection and cleansing, analysis, and reporting; R or Python preferred
Knowledge of databases, warehouses and reporting software, including data integrity, report design, ability to understand and maintain SQL code (e.g. Aquadata Studio)
Ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization to gather requirements and document analysis and recommendations, including technical processes and analysis and business impact of findings
Prioritizes tasks to complete work within deadlines as business needs change
Collaborates with colleagues and third-parties to ensure deliverables are available when needed or adapt analysis as required
