IQVIA Associate Director, FSP Solutions Design (Biostatistics, Statistical Programming and Clinical Data Management) in Chicago, Illinois
The Associate Director will support and lead the design of FSP DSSR Solutions from client discussions, to RFI, RFP and bid defense meetings. Working closely with Sales & Operations, they will provide insights and strategy for customer solutions based on understood requirements.
-Serve as key contact for strategic planning, direction and execution of all new business including primary accountability for:
-Solution design and operational definitions
-Design overall strategy, recruiting strategy and model ramp delivery
-Define and articulate model working closely with operations
-Work with internal stakeholders to finalize project budgets and scope of work to meet financial and company goals (realization/margin targets), proactively ensuring adherence to change control processes.
-Work with internal stakeholders to develop requisite models and associated resource plans.
-Work with internal stakeholders to answer client opportunity (rate exercise, RFI/RFP, BDM…)
-Develop and lead transition oversight program for any newly won work to include
•Collaborate with the Regional Head, Alliance leads or account team on their ongoing client discussions to identify expansion opportunity and evolution of current model
•Act as lead member of due diligence activities as they relate to the customer's needs and long-term objectives
-BA/BS in life sciences, communications, nursing, or equivalent related education and experience.
-Experience actively managing clinical research projects across biometrics functional areas.
-Thorough knowledge of FDA regulations, drug development, and project management procedures.
-Proficiency with ICH/GCP guidelines.
-Strong presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills as well as a team-oriented approach.
-Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, email and internet.
-Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines while delivering high quality work in a dynamic environment.
Typically requires a minimum of 5 - 7 years of prior relevant experience.
Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one department or multiple related departments.
