ManpowerGroup Assistant Controller in Chicago, Illinois
Jefferson Wells is partnering with one of our clients in the south Chicago Suburbs to identify an Assistant Controller. This permanent opportunity is a new role with our client and will oversee three employees.
The Assistant Controller will have hands-on responsibilities in all areas of accounting including reconciliation, fixed assets, AP/AR financial statement preparation/review, budgeting/forecasting, payroll, etc.
The Assistant Controller should bring public accounting experience either from Big Four or a mid-tier firm and have busy season experience to talk about. A mix of both public and industry is preferred.
CPA is a nice-to-have but not mandatory
Manufacturing industry experience (or related) preferred
The Assistant Controller will interact with all departments and therefore should bring stellar verbal and written communication skills.
System savviness is crucial for success in this role including advanced MS Excel capabilities
