  • ​This job is a member of the Customer Experience Team, within Cargo Division.

  • ​Responsible for coordinating our sales approach within the Domestic US to a portfolio of Regional Domestic customers (non-Global/Key Accounts) who are structured to support a HDQ to HDQ relationship which can drive value for American and the customer.

  • Position will be responsible for building relationships with our customers and across the American team, coordinating sales activities,creating solutions for our customers’ needs and helping to define our sales strategy.

What you'll do

  • Builds and maintains relationships with a portfolio of Domestic Regional Accounts

  • Negotiates pricing and capacity agreements with our Domestic regional customers

  • Meets specific revenue goals associated with our Domestic regional customers

  • Works closely with our field sales, Operations, Revenue Management and Strategy teams to grow our Domestic business

  • Helps to define our Domestic Sales Strategy

  • Presents to senior management within American Airlines Cargo and our Customers

  • Represents American Airlines at industry events

  • Works closely with the field sales team to ensure consistent customer strategy

  • Works closely with the operations team to ensure that our service performance meets both American’s, and our customers, needs

  • Ability to travel

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Sales experience

  • Familiarity with American Airlines products/services

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Sales experience

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with deadlines assigned by Manager

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team and effectively manage projects

  • Aptitude for problem solving

  • Strong project management skills required

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Understanding of the airline’s network, products, and services as well as the competition
