The Simulation Engineering College Co-op will be involved in updating the CCH & 4WD plant models to improve fidelity and reduce execution time.

Responsibilities

n

n

n

+ Investigating methods of plant modeling to reduce plant simulation time and improve fidelity

n

+ In support of moving to a virtual test environment for Driveline Electronics Software and systems

n

+ This enhanced fidelity will be need to support the development of the next level of autonomous vehicle development

n

+ Set models up so they may be included with other component models to create a complete Virtual tractor model capable of driving




n

Qualifications

n

n

n

+ Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree area

n

+ Must be able to work part-time throughout the school year (15-20 hours a week) and full time during the summer ( 40 hours a week)

n

+ Must live within a commutable distance (within 50 miles)

n

+ No relocation will be required


n

Preferred Qualifications

n

n

+ Matlab/Simulink knowledge

n

+ In depth knowledge of transmission electro hydraulic control systems and autonomous vehicles preferred
