The Design Engineer Intern position will provide design and validation experience, including part design, root cause analysis, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

n

+ In this role, the intern will support design changes and improvements to the electrical/electronic systems of the tractor due to current product improvement efforts and/or new product development plans.

n

+ Duties include identifying, analyzing, and specifying resolutions to wire harness/ electrical systems/components/software design issues that result in functional performance or warranty issues while meeting all project dates and schedules.

n

+ This individual works closely with engineering, purchasing and manufacturing groups at locations around the world to resolve and implement changes.

Qualifications

n

n

n

+ Pursuing a minimum of a B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related degree area


n

Preferred Qualifications:

n

n

+ Must have working knowledge of general computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.)

n

+ Must be a highly motivated self-starter with good communication skills.

n

+ General knowledge of basic Ag or CE vehicle design and usage helpful
