Danaher Corporation Service Billing Analyst- Remote in Buffalo Grove, Illinois

Position Summary

Perform Service Billing functions for the LBS NA Customer Support organization. Conduct billing for all the various business segments served, including customers, dealers, Business Units, etc. Provide Service process, SFDC, and SAP support to Customer Support team and other Leica business segments within the company and do so within budgetary guidelines to achieve the objective of providing high quality support to Leica’s customers. Provide secondary support to Service group to support other Leica initiatives as assigned and Authorized Service Provider organizations with service-related administrative tasks.

Major Responsibilities

  • Validate, bill and re-bill completed Work Orders (WO) submitted by Field Service Engineers/Managers in a timely manner to ensure maximum revenue and recoveries

  • Administer Authorized Service Provider dealer reimbursements in order to ensure timely payment of dealer invoices for provided services

  • Ensure proper utilization of SAP and Salesforce.com (SFDC)

  • Prepare SFDC and SAP reports as directed by Management in order to provide management with current business information necessary to make good business decisions

  • Conduct daily management reporting and provide input to process improvement

  • Delegate Work Order issues to respective RFSM

  • Ensure Time & Materials and recoveries are billed per target dates

  • Develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with customers and LBS associates

Required Education, Experience, Skills

Education: High school diploma

Experience/Skills:

  • Associates Degree with a minimum 1 year of billing OR 1 year of accounting experience OR equivalent work experience (minimum of 3 years of industry experience. )

  • Analytical skills (interpretation, problem solving, etc.)

  • Demonstrated experience dealing with numbers, processing financial information, and making sound economic decisions

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Desired Education, Experience, Skills

Education: Bachelors Degree

Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience as Billing Specialist

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in related field

  • Experience using SAP

  • Experience using Salesforce.com (SFDC)

Travel: 0-5% Domestic; 0% International

Language: English
