Officers are required to dress in a manner that is professional yet appropriate to the job functions and facility, must wear uniform at all times while on duty.
Clothing must fit well and be neat, clean, and pressed at all times.

Officers must be able to communicate in a professional manner that is open, honest, respectful, timely, and responsive in all situations.
Security Officers: Full and Part-Time available
Responsibilities may include :
- Inside Security will patrol the inside of the facility on foot.
Inside Security, Officers should ensure that they patrol High Shrink areas that have been identified by Walmart Management, i.e., electronics, personal care, automotive, and hardware.
The report identified safety issues to Walmart facility management, i.e., emergency exits, spills, water leaks, burned out lights, safety hazards.
Inside Security, Officers may be periodically asked to accompany associates transporting cash or high-value merchandise within the store.
Inside Security, Officers may be periodically asked to patrol outside parking lots, parking garages, and stairwells.
Observing and immediately reporting to Walmart facility management all suspicious and/or criminal activity; aswell as groups or individuals trying to solicit or distribute literature on facility premises.
Submitting written reports to the Walmart facility management and the Walmart Market Asset ProtectionManager of any observed and/or reported incidents.
Performing services promptly and professionally and when engaged by Walmart customers, referringthem to Walmart facility management for assistance.
All patrols and routing are conducted through our software. Officers are required to learn the software and use it appropriately to maintain efficiency and submit well-written reports in real-time.
20-hour Basic Training Certificate
20-hour Armed Training Certificate (optional)
Valid FOID Card (Illinois Residents)
Are at least 21 years old
Successful completion of drug test and background checks
Valid Driver's License and Clean driving record
Military / Police / Security experience preferential but not mandatory
Completion of all online and on-job training
Complies with all uniform requirements according to the S88 Standard Operating Procedures
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for public interaction and report writing
Ability to learn and use new software efficiently
Able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States
Ability to deal with internal and external customers and to ensure compliance with fair employment practices
Ability to get along with other employees, follow directions, work under stress, and work under austere conditions
Ability to conform to established procedures and to help identify and solve problems.
Required education: High school or equivalent
Section 8/HUD experience preferred
Customer Service, Military or security preferred: 1 year

Hours: 12 pm (Noon)- 6pm - 6pm-12am
Salary: $12.00 per hour
