+ nInspect and approve all sub-contractor's work. n

n

+ nSchedule and coordinate with all local authorities for required inspections. n

n

+ nComplete work in a timely and efficient manner by planning, prioritizing and mobilizing staff, materials and subcontractors to meet progression schedule. n

n

+ nEnsure Construction Supervisor is apprised of construction progress, concerns and deviations from plans or established schedule. n

n

+ nIdentify all materials and other resources needed to complete project. n

n

+ nCoordinate resources to meet construction schedules. n

n

+ nCoordinate delivery and off-loading of towers, materials, generators and shelters. n

n

+ nIdentify construction "punch list" of items to be remedied and ensure they are completed prior to customer?s inspection. n

n

+ nFinalize all inspections to close project. n

n

+ nAssign tasks to fellow crew members and perform civil or tower construction activities such as (These preceding items are civil construction activities), stacking towers, testing, positioning antennas, installing antennas, running coax, etc. n

n

+ nEnsure tasks assigned to crew are completed in timely, quality manner. n

n

+ nTrain and assist employees in completing tasks. Professionally interact with client?s representatives. n

n

+ nMay maintain and enforce all SBA and OSHA safety practices, perform daily jobsite safety inspections on equipment prior to operation. Immediately stops work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist. n

n

+ nMust be able to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays and evening hours. n

n

+ nMust be able to satisfactorily complete all aspects of SBA?s Tower U training classes. n

n

+ nOther projects and duties as assigned. n

n

nSupervisory Responsibilities: n


+ nSupervises journeyman, apprentice and helpers. n

n

+ nAssign duties, instruct, review, plan/schedule and coordinate work for the above employees. n

n

+ High School or GED required.

n

+ 3+ years tower construction background required, Or 2 years tower construction background and TTT-1 Certification, both written and practical.

n

+ At least 1 year of Supervisory experience.

n

+ nMust be computer proficient, having demonstrated intermediate knowledge and ability to work with MS Word and Excel. n

n

+ nAble to read blueprints, details and specifications. n

n

+ nCald-weld or other thermo-weld training helpful. n

n

+ nHas demonstrated knowledge of Test Equipment, Sweep, PIM & Fiber, and Certification in each. n

n

+ nHas demonstrated knowledge of standard knots, Pass N.A.T.E. Tower Climbers Exam. n

n

+ nSuccessfully complete SBA Tower U and TS&R Training. n

n

? nLanguage Skills: n


+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

? nMathematical Skills: n


+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measu e, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

n

? nReasoning Ability: n


+ nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. n

n

? nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations: n


+ nValid Drivers License required. n

n

+ nMust be able to meet SBA MVR criteria with approved driver status. n

n

+ nValid (Medical Examiners Certificate DOT Card) required. n

n

+ nOSHA Certification can be obtained via successful completion of SBA Tower U training class. n
